Why I hate long hair...
Hair.... The human fur....It has great social significance... Long hair is typically a sign of beauty. But lets face it.... it looks good on OTHER people but if you have it then its a nightmare....
My hair has grown quiet long this time and I usually prefer medium length hair....I have no problems with hair in general but in the past few days i have come to hate long hair.... So I came up with some reasons why it sux and also decided to add some(only managed one) of the positive points of owning long hair....
1. Hair on your head looks pretty.. but not on the floor/drain/walls or any other place that hair usually accumulates. Long hair = More volume of fallen hair
2. You tend to waste plenty of time taking care of..... brushing/combing/tying/washing/drying...... and god alone knows what else... time is money!
3. Also it leads to water shortage.... coz u have to use plenty of water to wash long hair..... not to mention the amount of chemicals in ur average shampoo/conditioner which is lost down the drain which may cause water pollution in the near/distant future......
4. There is a constant fear of getting your hair caught on a moving vehicle or on someone's clothing/jewellary and imagine how embarrasing dat wud be...
5. In the summer it is like having an animal on your head which leads to excess of heataround the head...
6. MOST people dont have good quality hair.... And yet these people seem to think that it looks good long!! Reminds me of brooms growing out of the head.....
7. Hair infestation.. Dandruff, lice, the works.... All favour long hair
8. People may use your long hair to wipe their hands when u r not looking.... it sounds gross but I have observed such interesting specimens in the past....
9. Thinking.............hmmmm... ok... you can think of more
Now the only good point of having GOOD QUALITY long hair is that it is a head turner..... Most men like women with long silky locks so it is probably why women want to grow their in d first place......
The things women do to look good for men!!! Foot-binding, high heels, implants... and now.... long hair

since you could come up with just one advantage of long hair, let me help you with some more.
- it keeps you very warm in the winter, especially when you drape your hair around your neck and over the ears.
- its a conversation starter. Most people always want to know how you maintain such long lustrous locks. Gives you a nice opportunity to help them with their hair woes.
- animals want to get into your hair. Especially dogs, they love long hair.
- it has its kinky uses in the bedroom. Need i say more?
- it makes you feel like a million bucks! Only because its the best accessory, and it elevates any outfit's style effortlessly. Even when you're not wearing any outfit ;)
Some minor corrections for your consideration...
Shampoo and chemicals are a concern for anybody who uses them, i.e. people with hair (length doesn't matter), unless you're hipster about it and don't - a) wash your hair, or, b) make your own organic hairwash that doesn't pollute the oceans and kill the whales.
And as for dandruff, it happens to everyone (especially if you have a dry scalp). The only ones exempt from it are bald people.
